For seasonal displays, book by October to guarantee install before the holidays; installs run October into early December, with takedown in January and February. The landscape and permanent lighting options carry the same custom design past the holidays, so your home can stay lit year-round if you want it to.

A couple of honest notes on how we work. We focus on your rooflines and typically avoid steep ridgelines for safety, though we’ll work with you where we safely can. And you’ll usually have your custom design within a day, the only exception being when we’re sourcing special lights for your project.

From the first call to the January takedown, here’s how a Greer install comes together.

CONSULTATION

Reach out and we’ll consult in person for most jobs, or online for smaller, clear-cut ones.

CUSTOM DESIGN
MOCK-UP

We build a software design mock-up so you can preview your display up front, delivered within about a day of the consultation. If your project calls for lights we need to source specially, that’s the one thing that can add a little time.

INSTALL

Once the design and contract are approved, we install: roofline bulbs clipped to the house, trees and greenery secured without harm, and stake lights set along driveways and walks. On Greer’s larger estate homes we plan for high roofline footage and mature trees to wrap, and we bring a lift where the height calls for it. Your takedown date is scheduled at signing.

OPTIONAL DUSK
WALKTHROUGH

Where the property is a close, reasonable distance, we can offer an after-dark walkthrough so you can confirm you’re happy with the lit display.

IN-SEASON
MAINTENANCE

If something we installed goes out during the season, we’re back to repair it within 48 hours.

TAKEDOWN AND
STORAGE

We take the display down on the date scheduled at signing, in January or February, and with a multi-year contract we store your lights off-season so nothing ends up in your garage.

Holiday lighting is priced to match the size and detail of your display, and a job minimum applies so every project is worth doing well. Here’s how the numbers break down.

RESIDENTIAL INSTALLS TYPICALLY START AROUND $850–$900, WITH LARGER CUSTOM PROJECTS RANGING UP TO $3,000–$5,000. WHERE A DISPLAY LANDS IN THAT RANGE DEPENDS ON ROOFLINE COMPLEXITY, STORY COUNT, AND HOW MUCH TREE WRAPPING IS INVOLVED.
ROOFLINE IS PRICED PER LINEAR FOOT, PLUS ADD-ONS FOR TREES, GREENERY, AND WREATHS.
A JOB MINIMUM APPLIES SO SMALLER JOBS ARE STILL COVERED.
COMMERCIAL WORK IS CUSTOM-QUOTED BY COMPLEXITY, WITH MULTI-STORY AND LARGER PROPERTIES ADDING COST.
TAKEDOWN AND REMOVAL ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR INSTALL PRICE, NO SEPARATE FEE.

Our three-year contract includes a three-year warranty on the lights we provide. Service labor is covered under contract, and we store the lights off-season.
